Unfortunately unable to review accomodation,food or service as we were double booked. Apparently landlords wife responsible for this so she was summoned. Landlord then completely ignored us and didnt even offer us a seat let alone an apology, this was left to his wife. She didnt seem well and was apparently in hospital at the time of our booking. She went away, 20 mins later produced £140 to cover the cost at premier inn who had ample availability and she had phoned them. Premier Inn denied any phone calls from Helen. They had one room which went whilst we were trying to book it. Plenty of certificates of awards, shame they are so old and tatty like the pub. I hate being lied to but rudeness, lies and facing a night in the car... Dont book here, disgraceful performance. Tired and niaive, should have insisted they booked it in front of us! Took the edge off Bath Christmas market tbh!

This is a rustic, traditional pub. We had evening dinner which was tasty and reasonably priced. It was fairly quiet (we didn't book) but this was mid-week. A recommended secluded evening out.

Absolutely fantastic pub. Great beers and stunning food. Service and atmosphere are absolutely first class. This is a must visit . Prices are also very reasonable.

TV didn't work, lock to door was wonky, bathroom fan whining.... Old and tired decor but good value for the room price. Food was adequate, (but overpriced) and chips tasted like they came out of a frozen packet. Grumpy landlord but he was short staffed so that's probably why 😁

I have visited The Jolly Huntsman Inn many times over the years, it was our 'go-to' place for food and drink when visiting relatives in the village, and is still a good choice today. We both had a really nice meal, the bar and serving staff were very attentive and efficient. I would definitely recommend! Beware of parking though, you may have to park on the road and walk but it's not far at all.

Had a lovely stay here over the weekend. The room was very clean and spacious. Parking on site for guests' location stunning. Full English breakfast was delicious. There was a power cut when we stayed but it didn't detract from the stay and was beyond the owners control. Lovely little pub Friendly and welcoming owners. Would recommend this as a place to stay. Great value for the price. Rooms had kettles and hot drink accessories. Fresh beading and clean towels. WiFi and a TV in rooms. Not having power made the stay a little better because we all got a real good sleep power came on sometime in the night. If I could say that if the power going out is a location thing maybe a small battery operated light for the rooms in case of emergency would be a plus . Or a note to guest upon booking to bring something. But that's only if powercuts are a thing for the area. Thanks so much for the stay and how welcome you made us feel. 😁😁

The room was ok however it was freezing cold even with the heating on, the radiators switched off about 2100 and I had to wear my clothes in bed it was so cold, the evening meal was "a beef curry with basmati rice" which was actually some beef stew with tough as boots gristle and a low grade gravy, breakfast was ok, I like to be fair so heat the room a bit better and teach the cook that a curry is not a grissle beef stew and this will improve the rating, the lady behind the bar was really pleasant and helpful so I do feel bad having to give such a low rating but unfortunately I pride myself in giving fair and honest reviews

A good country pub. Reasonable prices and easy going nature. A little off the beaten track but in a large village so obviously more of a locals pub, but that is a good thing. Worth a visit and a relaxed meal.

Recently stayed for a couple of nights with family across 3 rooms - very comfortable stay. Rooms are a little tired but warm and welcoming. Service is absolutely brilliant - great food and friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value for money and highly recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic meal at the Jolly Huntsman. The staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere. The food was very good and the service was top-notch. A must-visit for anyone looking for a cosy country pub.

El pub es muy bonito, muy buen ambiente. Desayuno espectacular en un sitio precioso. A tan sólo 11 minutos de castle combe. La habitación por su parte deja un poco que desear la limpieza, necesita un poco de cuidados. Por lo demás todo bien.

What a great place room's aer a good size clean and comfortable. The pub is friendly and serve good food. And a great breakfast to start the day

The Sunday roast was the best I've had for a long time with generous portions. Breakfast was nice too.
